Ines de Ramon and Paul Wesley have closed the chapter on their marriage as they finalize their amicable divorce. De Ramon has since moved on and found love with much older actor Brad Pitt.
Ines de Ramon has recently stepped into the limelight as Brad Pitt’s younger girlfriend, capturing public attention with their budding romance. However, before her relationship with the Hollywood icon, she was best known in the entertainment industry as the wife of “Vampire Diaries” star Paul Wesley.
The couple’s journey together concluded with the recent finalization of their divorce, marking the end of their marital chapter that began in 2019.
According to court documents, de Ramon and Wesley signed the divorce papers on February 23. The filing then took place in Los Angeles County Superior Court shortly after. The documents highlight that de Ramon and Wesley “have entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights.”
A notable detail from the proceedings is de Ramon’s request to revert to her maiden name, pending only the judge’s approval to finalize the divorce. Her no contest to Wesley’s filing suggested an amicable split. Additionally, both parties agreed to give up the right to receive spousal support.
Although the actor initiated the divorce process in February 2023, citing irreconcilable differences, a representative for Wesley disclosed that the couple had mutually decided to part ways approximately five months prior, around April 2022.
This separation marks Wesley’s second, following his previous dissolution of marriage from his fellow “Vampire Diaries” co-star Torrey DeVitto in 2013.
After separating from Wesley, de Ramon found love again with Brad Pitt. The couple first sparked rumors of a romantic connection in November 2022, when they were seen together at a Bono concert in Los Angeles. At that time, their romantic relationship was not confirmed. They were also in the company of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber during the concert.
However, by the holiday season, speculations of their dating began to circulate widely. Their relationship eventually blossomed into a full-fledged romance that they did not hide but kept private.
In December 2023, the couple was seen enjoying a low-key celebration in Paris for Pitt’s 60th birthday. Despite their preference for privacy, the two couldn’t escape public attention during this intimate celebration.

The insider disclosed that Pitt, who shares six children – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox – with former wife, Jolie – previously dated several other women in the past but never introduced them to his kids.
In March 2023, another source disclosed that de Ramon had yet to meet Pitt’s offspring or their mother. The insider added that the duo’s romance was “still fairly new” and that things would take a while to progress. The A-lister is reportedly content with his relationship with de Ramon and “isn’t in a rush” to take things to the next level unless they happen naturally.
A source at the time revealed in December 2022 that Pitt was “smitten” with the brunette beauty and was not “expecting to find someone extraordinary” like her. However, they were merely friends then.
The pair’s newfound romance was confirmed a month later, in late December 2022, and the two were reportedly enjoying each other’s company. All the while, Pitt has had to deal with legal drama between him and his ex-wife. But a source revealed in a July 2023 interview that de Ramon’s’ “feelings for him haven’t wavered whatsoever.”
The insider explained the ordeal had only strengthened the couple’s bond as they are transparent and honest about the happenings of their lives, regardless of them being good or bad.
