He’s one of the most successful actors in the world, with millions in the bank and an eye-catching catalog of classic films under his belt. Yet John Travolta has experienced more than his fair share of tragedy over the years.
The Grease star sadly lost his teenage son, Jett, in 2009, before suffering renewed heartbreak when his longtime partner, Kelly Preston, passed away in 2020.
In short, Travolta has had a tough time of things of late, but if reports are to be believed then the Hollywood star is slowly discovering a new “lease on life” three years after his wife’s death.
Losing a loved one is never an easy thing, nor does it become simpler over the ensuing years. If you’ve ever had to say goodbye to someone dear to you, you’ll know of the silent pain that lurks in the background, waiting for your weak days before reemerging to suffocate your happiness.
It’s the same for everyone. Male or female, tall or short, rich or poor; grief doesn’t discriminate.
Just ask Pulp Fiction star John Travolta, who’s been forced to experience the death of a son and, more recently, his beloved wife Kelly.
We can only imagine how tough a road that’s been for him to walk, but there may be light at the end of the tunnel, or so say reports.
According to Radar Online, Travolta is finally ready to embrace a new chapter in his life.
“He wants to travel around the world with his kids,” a source is said to have told Radar.
Despite the fact that he’s set to turn 70 soon, insiders close to Travolta insist he has no intention of slowing down.
“John has lots of things he wants to do, and places he wants to fly to on one of his planes and explore,” the insider said. “He loves to keep learning.”
Of course, the pain of his late wife’s passing yet remains, and it’s likely a burden the actor will carry for the remainder of his days.
“Despite losing Kelly and Jett, John still has a zest for life,” an insider told Radar. “John has worked overtime to be the best father he can be.”
The source continued of Preston: “No one will ever come close. He has his kids, his work, his hobbies and his friends, and that’s enough to fulfill him for now.”
We’re sending love and prayers in the direction of John Travolta.
