Before Tammy’s 300-pound weight loss announcement, she had to successfully decrease her weight to a certain number to undergo weight loss surgery. As revealed by Daily Mail, the target was 550 pounds, which she attained.
After reaching the goal, fans saw Tammy leaving the rehabilitation facility as she prepared for her bariatric surgery. Tammy was sent off with the heartwarming cheers and support of her family. She said, “I really do appreciate everybody coming. I needed them. I needed to know that they love me no matter what.” As she became emotional, Tammy continued to say that knowing her family was there for her helped her push through to get where she was.
